Hawthorn Golf & Country Club – Fishers, IN Wedding

It all started because Emilee fell in love with the guy down the hall from her freshman dorm. Talk about a modern day fairytale! They are so blessed they were able to keep their original wedding date and have all of their friends and family in attendance. This was the largest wedding I have photographed post-COVID, and it was refreshing to have a bit of “normalcy”.

They had a unique wedding day. Everything, and I mean everything, was ahead of schedule. This has happened before, but never when the couple opted out of a first look and when the *amazing* DJ had to unexpectedly become the day of coordinator. The world seemed to be against them, but they came out stronger than ever. I loved seeing Patrick and Emilee embrace the unexpected and focus on what matters — getting married.

The venue could have been double book and all of the family’s flights from out of town could have been canceled, but Emilee and Patrick would still be filled with joy because today they finally became The Henry’s.

Hawthorn Golf & Country Club is absolutely stunning & I could not picture a better location for a timeless wedding. The white beams created a beautiful archway into the venue and created the perfect backdrop for portraits. Emilee & Patrick are such a beautiful couple inside & out, so paired with this venue created portraits worthy to be the cover of a magazine.
