She captured our family dynamic so well, and was extremely sweet and kind to work with. She kept our toddler engaged and smiling the whole time, and was patient with our newborn needing breaks to eat during the session. “Caitlyn was AMAZING! We did extended family photos with grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. and it was amazing. From the first inquiry I sent, she was super communicative, flexible, and great about explaining the process along the way. The studio space was beautiful and we were so thankful she was able to accommodate all of our schedules when booking since we anted these done around the holiday times, with my sister traveling in town from across the country. When we got there, Caitlyn was so friendly. She helped everyone pose, suggested different combinations for family members, and kept everything moving quickly. I'm ready to schedule! What time of day is best?
I always suggest scheduling your session 90 minutes before sunset for optimal lighting! Sessions can be scheduled on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings given availability. Weekends are available as well depending on the season.
Help! What do people wear?
The simpler the better! Neutrals will be your best friend and look great in any location. I will also send a full style guide to assist full of tips and examples to decrease the stress of picking out outfits for everyone in your family!
I have no idea what location is best for photos! What do you suggest?
I have a full Location Guide to share with you that includes my favorite portrait locations in the Indianapolis area! While I’m based in Indianapolis, I regularly photograph families in Carmel, Westfield, Fishers, Zionsville, Noblesville, McCordsville, Fortville, Lawrence, and the greater Indy area.
How many images can I expect?
I average 75+ final images for family sessions via an online gallery where you have the ability to print, share and download your images as much as you want.
