Shannon & Sam’s wedding is one that I will never forget! From start to finish, the entire day was filled with love and laughter. Shannon & Sam share a beautiful and movie-worthy kind of love, and they are one of the many reasons I love being an Indiana wedding photographer!

Shannon greeted me with the most joyful smile upon stepping her bridal suite. The room was filled with laughter as all the girls finished touching up their hair and make-up or gushed over how beautiful Shannon was! She even decided to have her hair stylist trim her hair so it would look perfect for her wedding day. The girls turned to hide as she put on her dress so Shannon could have a first look with her bridesmaids. Of course they screamed, “ooh”ed, and “aah”ed upon seeing their friend in her gorgeous gown. One of the most special moments happened next; the girls gathered around Shannon and prayed over her. They prayed for happiness on this day, they prayed the strength of her marriage, and they prayed for to stay the center of their lives.

Next, I ventured over to the Groom suite to find Sam in a bit of a frenzy. He had left the pants for his suite at home…one hour away. He was frantically trying to find a way to wear someone else’s pants despite his being slightly different. Luckily his pants arrived in time, and he was ready to see his soon-to-be wife.

Shannon and Sam shared the most intimate and heart-warming first look. They stood by the large barn doors peering over their ceremony area. Tears of happiness fell from both of their eyes, and the love between them was palpable! They could not stop smiling and hugging and celebrating each other. They stopped to take in the moment and pray for each other. Sam led the prayer and ended with phrase that I will never forget. He pointed to the arbor and said,
