The Garden Chapel | Greenfield, IN
Erika & Jake celebrated their wedding day at the Garden Chapel in Greenfield. They were surrounded by their closest friends and dear family members. This wedding was filled with love from beginning to end. These two were completely present throughout their wedding day. Nothing could get between them and getting married! This was my first experience photographing at this venue and I hope to return soon! The chapel itself is pristine and a photographer’s dream! It is flooded with beautiful natural light.
One of my favorite wedding traditions is a first look with the father of the groom. Erika has such a special relationship with her father and wanted to give him this special opportunity. Erika’s father stood outside with nerves filling his entire body. As soon as she opened the door tears filled his eyes and a sense of pride took over him. You could tell he was so honored and proud to see his little girl grow up into such a beautiful, strong woman. I teared up seeing these two celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime experience together!
Erika & Jake are a walking example of true love. They decided to save the first time seeing each other for the isle, and it brought both of them to tears. My favorite part of a wedding day is watching the groom see his bride for the first time. Jake did not disappoint, and even made me tear up! Erika & Jake danced the night away with all of their friends! I have never experienced such a fun, joyful reception! I guess I should have expected it given Erika & Jake met during high school through show choir!
