Tinker House Events | Downtown Indianapolis Wedding
Alexsus & Jason had the most elegant Downtown Indianapolis wedding! They were able to experience all of downtown by having separate locations for their ceremony, reception, and portraits! Their ceremony was held at Sacred Heart Cathedral Indianapolis. If you have never been there, you must go! It is the most beautiful cathedral I have been to in the Indianapolis area! Located on a quaint side-street, the church had the most beautiful arches and steps leading up to the wooden front doors. The beauty does not stop on the outside. Inside you find breathtaking murals and a large organ. The entire bridal party snuck away to the Indiana War Memorial for their portraits in a fun trolley! The War Memorial is a beautiful limestone architectural dream that is beautiful year round. It provides a beautiful view of the Indianapolis skyline without having to go up millions of steps!
The Schenkel’s held their reception at Tinker House Events. It was a perfect mix between romantic and industrial with the exposed brick and hanging lights. My favorite aspect of Alexsus & Jason’s wedding was the Dueling Pianos for their reception! Live music was the perfect touch and special for everyone attending the wedding. Alexsus & Jason frequent Brickhouse Piano Bar in Broad Ripple to hear Jay Jones play! From the minute she saw him play the dueling pianos on one of her first dates with Jason she knew the Dueling Pianos had to play at their wedding! The Schenkel’s wedding was a party from start to finish!
