Coxhall Gardens at the Ritz Charles is the perfect location for family photos in central Indiana. Not only is there decadent landscaping, but the unique Campbell Crossing provides the perfect architectural background for portraits. There is also a children’s garden full of kid-sized buildings perfect for kiddos to explore!

Enough about Coxhall Gardens, because these photos would be nothing without the beautiful people in them. Kaila & John have been one of my longest client couples. They have trusted me through the growth of their family & taken me through many surprises. Kaila even used a portrait session with me to surprise John on the arrival of their second kiddo! It was one of the most special surprises I have ever been apart of.

As you might have seen on instagram stories, I found out a few days ago I will be moving to Rockford, IL for the summer. I’m currently in my 2nd year of Physical Therapy school and have a clinical rotation this summer. Initially, my clinical was going to be in Muncie, IN. Then COVID19 happened, and just like everything else, it was cancelled. Luckily, I have a replacement just a state away! As soon as I found out, I let instagram know my availability would be drastically changing. Kaila saw this and immediately reached out.

The first thing she said to me when I met her at Coxhall Gardens was “As soon as you said you were moving I knew I needed to book a session immediately because you’re my favorite photographer and I’m having withdrawl.” Is that not the sweetest thing? It’s exactly why I love what I do!! Not only have I loved seeing her family expand, but I have also loved making a friend in the process.
