Newfields has quickly become my favorite portrait location without question! I was ecstatic from the moment Cara & FX chose this gorgeous for their engagement session. The garden was filled with beautiful greenery and an abundance of florals everywhere we turned. It was wonderful exploring the grounds! The Lily House was beautiful and provided an elegant background different from the natural landscapes. One of my favorite portrait locations happened to be this small garden surrounded a fountain! It was lined with perfectly manicured trees, abundant florals, and beautiful white arbors.
Cara & FX frequented the grounds at the Indianapolis Museum of Art when they lived in Indianapolis. They enjoyed going to the fountain for a relaxing afternoon and reading a book or two. They shared all the wonderful memories they had visiting these exact paths or benches. Although the grounds are beautiful, it was even more beautiful to them having a strong meaning behind it! Cara & FX moved to California a few years ago and loved the west coast. Luckily they moved back to Indianapolis last year but have yet to visit the IMA again! Hopefully this will the first of many trips returning to this beautiful, special location!
