Family sessions never fail to make me smile because they remind me how lucky we are to be surrounded by so many amazing people. I loved shooting this intimate backyard session in my hometown of Noblesville, IN. Indiana might be considered just another fly over state, but I promise there is so much beauty here; it just takes a little bit more to find it. Most of the time we travel to various parks, such as Macke Family | Coxhall Gardens Carmel or SJ Family | Holcomb Gardens Indianapolis, but we were lucky enough to have a beautiful landscape that also hold sentimental value to them!

One of my favorite aspects of photographing families is seeing their natural interactions. I try to encourage as much natural interactions as possible because the family is more comfortable + I am able to capture the true essence of their family dynamic.
